Summer Clinic (Aug 19 - 23)

Our flagship Summer Clinics are back, join us for a week of exploration and adventure!

AGES:

Open to ages 8 - 13 years old. No prior experience necessary.

THEME:

This week will be focused on encouraging participants to explore their local public spaces while learning the basic techniques and elements of parkour. Participants with prior experience will be challenged to apply their skills in a variety of new settings and spaces.

LOCATION:

We'll be meeting at the Parkour Park portion of Lincoln Park (near Union Square, Somerville) and then exploring from there. Over the course of the week we'll explore a few more parks and public spaces in the area, with the start/end always being at Lincoln Park. Parents should ask the coach in the morning at drop-off about the day's training location if arranging early pickup.

8:30 - 9:00 Drop-off and Warmup Challenges

9:00 - 9:30 Group Warmup & Daily Mission

9:30 - 9:45 Walk to Training Location

9:45 - 10:30 Training / Challenges

10:30 - 10:45 Snack Break

10:45 - 11:30 Training / Challenges

11:30 - 11:45 Head back to Base Camp

11:45 - 12:00 Final Group Activity / Challenge

12:00 - 12:30 Pickup / Lunch

12:30 Walk to Afternoon Activity

FULL DAY OPTIONS:

We're excited to be teaming up with some other great local providers for additional afternoon programming. PKGB Team members will escort participants to the afternoon program of the week at 12:30 after a brief lunch break and participants will be picked up at the end of the day from the afternoon program. WHAT TO BRING:

- Weather appropriate clothing

- Close-toed athletic shoes

- Small Backpack (PKGB will not be responsible for lost/misplaced items)

- Sunscreen (please apply BEFORE arrival)

- Water Bottle

- Healthy Snack (No soda or junk food)*

- Lunch (for full-day participants)*

* Please let us know about any allergies ahead of time as students will be eating in a group setting.

PRICE:

- Full Week: $175 (PKGB Monthly Members: $150)

- Drop-in: $55/day (PKGB Monthly Members: $50)
